Data security with CapDrive

All data that is stored on your CapDrive are transferred with 256-bit SSL encryption.

On the CapDrive server system the data and the filenames are again encoded with a 256-bit encryption key. Only when you access the data it is being encrypted back to the normal format.

The whole encryption process works in the background on the server so it will neither affect your internet connection nor the performance of your computer.
