Create work groups and let others access your files

The Capstor drive enables you to give others access to your files, totally independent from their location. Similar to a network drive you access the files with multiple users and work on them together in a team. Diable the barriers between you and your friends and co-workers and share files the easy and flexible way!

With every CapDrive account you can create work groups. Create an unlimited amount of workgroups with unlimited users accessing your files. If you invite someone else to collaborate with you on your files this person will get an email invitation to join you in your group. Now it is easy to integrate remote co-workers from the home office or freelancers you are working with.

Manage rights in your groups

As a group administrator your are able to invite aditional group memebers and apply different user rights to them. These rights are:

Sharing your files with others

Through the file menu you can set any file or folder to be accessible by others.

Every share has an individual URL which you can send by email, send in instand messengers or just add as a bookmark. This link is generated automatically and contains a random string of letters and numbers to make sure so one can guess the URL to your files. For aditional security you can add a password to every share.

For every share you can choose if others are allowed to upload files or not

On the above picture only of the users knows the password and URL to access the shared files on CapDrive. The other users cannot access the files.

The public folder

Aditional to the regular CapDrive shares you can add files and folders to the so called "public folder". This folder is generally accesible through a fixed URL following this scheme: http://public.capstor.com/yourName.

By opening this URL you can easily access all files stored on the public folder.
